If you would like to be part of a motivated team of volunteers who make a tangible difference to the community, develop and broaden your skills and experience, network with current and future business and professional leaders and surround yourself with other passionate young leaders in the community, then Rotaract is a world of opportunity for you.
How do I get involved?
Rotaract is open to everyone aged 18-30, and we’re always extremely happy to have new people show up at our meetings and events. In order to become a member of the club and get involved with our efforts to improve the world around us, the best way is to come to one of our meetings. They’re always a lot of fun, and we usually have dinner and drinks at a nearby bar afterwards. To become a member email out membership director at email@example.com
You would need to attend two meetings and one social or community event. If you would like to attend a meeting, but want to get in touch with us before you make the leap, you can reach the club through our contact form.
If you are interested please send us your details.
Where does Sydney City Rotaract meet?
Sydney City Rotaract meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, at the City Tattersalls Club, 198 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. All events are published on the website, so the best way to find out where we is through our events page.
What does membership mean?
Due to the age of Rotaract members, most of the members are at the stage of their life where they are first building their careers, be it through studying, working at graduate positions, or even starting a business. As such, we understand that the amount of time that you can commit the club may be limited, and that it might vary wildly from month to month.
Your commitment to Rotaract is entirely up to you, and we will always work to support different levels of availability; from members who can only make one or two events each year, to those who work with the club almost every day.
How much does membership cost?
Sydney City Rotaract relies on yearly membership fees from it’s members in order to pay for the day to day costs that it incurs. Items such as name badges, club shirts, venue hiring and website hosting all rely on members contributing money towards the club.
Membership costs $50 a year for new members, and $30 a year for returning members.
