Being a Rotaractor is a lot of fun, but it can also be a lot of hard work! On any given week, you can be painting a homeless shelter, running a barbeque, arranging guest speakers or attending a ball.
Once a year, the Sydney City Rotaract Club likes to take a weekend away from it, retiring briefly to calm and peaceful locations in order to unwind, discuss the future of the club and, most importantly, to learn more about each other and become better friends.
These weekends are always a lot of fun, and can involve anything from campfires, surfing, hiking, grape stomping and wine tasting, listening to music or watching movies. All members and friends of the club are always welcome, and we usually hold the weekends away in the first quarter of the year.
